i thought i had seen a screenshot where someone had a couple links from their main home screen to a different home screen with a thumbnail picture of that other screen. i specifically remember seeing one linked to a screen filled with just games. i have not been able to find it again. is anyone aware of a way to do that or even if it can be done?

just in case anyone else was interested i found something similar to what i was looking for. the app is called folder explorer. it allows folders to change their icon to whatever you want. one of the choices is a clear icon that shows the apps in the folder. i am working on getting a screenshot to show it. the one i thought i had seen i think looked a little bigger but, this one does what i want until i find something else.

Each of my screens has a few folders that I fill with apps.
"Money" has the Chase app, my stock market app, et cetera.
All the apps are visible in the folder before I open the folder.
Not certain what you are looking for, though.

i can make a folder and fill it with apps but the icon for the folder looks like a folder. what did you use to make the folder icon look like what is inside the folder?

    Go Launcher
The folders are "theme-able" so I applied a colored theme to them as well.

    Nope.
    Sorry for the blurry photo.

    Each square is a folder.
Under the clock is "Books" and inside that there are 5 apps.
The on on the bottom right is "Social" and inside that is FB, Twitter et cetera.

There is also a clock and weather widget on that screen, and I have four total screens.
The bottom line of apps is the "dock" and there are three of those.
They hold email, the phone itself et cetera.

o i see. kind of the same as mine. i only have two folders on that screen shot one on the far left and the far right. 2 row from the bottom. i also have a link to a folder with tools in it that has the gear icon above the left folder.

i found something better, for me, i think so far than using folders. these are direct shortcuts to apps and or shortcuts. i have just started messing around with it so, i am not fully sure it is better but visually and speed wise it is better but i did get used to using the folders showing the icons representing the content of the folder as i showed earlier in this thread. here is what i am talking about:

i used multicon to make a widget that you can populate with any number of columns and rows and resize on the home screen many different ways. just mesing around at this point but, looks pretty promising
