hi i am thinking about getting desire z a7275 (bell branded) to use with att. i currently use a desire. the desire was a telus branded one but i debranded it to the stock HTC ROM. i'm just wondering if the bell branded desire z will be easy to debrand to the stock htc sense ROM and are there any instructions for it? also are there any recommended sites that i can buy the phone from?

yeah i read that too but why does the desire z require hex editing and all that other extra stuff when the process for the desire was just making a gold card, load the rom on the sd card, boot to recovery and install

Same reason the rooting process is different, I guess.... it's a next-gen handset with newer security that requires a different approach.
