1. I am a new user to android (coming from black berry) and I am wondering if it is advisable to go through the process of rooting my incredible with the leaked ota or wait for the official patch process?
2. With my Storm, so much crap would build up on there that I found it necessary to flash the thing every few months or I would run out of memory due to leaks. Is the same true with the incredibleand android? Will it be best to flash the phone every few months to keep from losing memory as I did on my blackberry? If so, what is the best route to take for accomplishing this? The HTC Sync is a far cry from a flashing utility...any recommendations would be most welcome. What do I gain from rooting my device?
