The box with the check in it I believe is after you have updated an app. (It lets you know its done.) The H+ means you are connected and using HSPA+.

Actually, the "Box with a check" by the clock is not a box with a check... it's the Alarm Clock Notification that you have an alarm set.

Look at the shape of the clock app icon. It's Square with a "Snooze button" on top and the hands showing at about the 11 and 5 positions.

Now, look back up at that little icon and you'll see, it's a mini version of it.

I think EVERYONE wondered this when we got the GB update. Most of us thought it was a battery with a check on it.

Thanks for clearing that up. I'm not on GB, so wasn't sure.

Evil.... those are the OLD notification icons from FroYo.... many of them changed with the GB update.

Might want to update your images.

They where the quickest I could find using the Googles. Point I was making that the answer to most questions are pretty easy to find.

Then why do people like me even bother to be nice and try to help??

Oh, yeah... It's because the "Quickly found" answers are not always right. Case in point, your "Quick Search" that gave the WRONG information.

What good is a search if you don't know what you are looking for or would recognize the answer if you find it??

That's what this forum is here for. That's what MOST of us are here for.
