Okay, so instead of keeping all my app icons in my "app drawer" I have all my favorite ones on my homescreens taking up a total of 3 screens. Is this affecting my battery life for some odd reason? I know about the SMS trick to help prolong battery life, but is there anything else I should do to try to make it last longer? Someone had mentioned before that they keep their homescreens free of anything and keep all their apps in their drawer, so I didn't know if I should keep this up.

icons won't affect battery life (minimally, if they do at all), but widgets can.

I only have 3 widgets installed currently: I have a YouTube widget, a battery widget and a clock on my main screen. I kept the clock and killed the other two so I hope this helps because it's getting out of hand on a day to day basis. :(

battery widgets are known to kill your battery, or used to be anyway.

What kind of battery life are you getting? And with what kind of use?
