Question about reminders

Hey all!

Just got a new phone with 4.4(kit kat).

Probably a dumb question but, I'm trying to setup a once a month reminder but I only seem to have options for days of the week and to repeat weekly as opposed to say the 1st of every month.

Am I missing something?

Hello kageyfna. Welcome to Android Forums. You might try logging into your Google account and accessing the calendar app. It will allow you to set a weekly, monthly, and yearly reminders. Once you have that set up, it should sync with your Google calendar app on your new phone. I hope this helps.

Not 100% sure but I think you want the calendar to show months?

Just press the upper left area where it says the days info and has a small triangle. This will allow different views.
