Hey everyone. I was at work today and recieved a text. I looked at my phone to see if the status light was blinking (sometimes I swear I feel my phone vibrate like I have a message when I actually don't). It was not flashing but I turned on the phone and there actually was a text. I rebooted my phone and received the next text and the light was flashing fine. So later I received another text and I could not check it for about 30 minutes after, by the time I looked at my phone the light was not flashing again. So my question is, does the status light only flash for a certain amount of time before it stops, even if you don't view the message? Anyone else have have this happen? Thanks.

yes, it does. I believe it's fifteen or thirty minutes. But it'll stop after that

Ok cool. Thank you for the help. I was worried for a bit there. This is my first phone with a status light so I wasn't sure.

Plus make sure you have reminders set in the text app whichever your using. This way at that selected interval the phone will realert you

Thanks Andrea, I will do it.
Actually, I just looked through the settings and I did not see an option for reminders. Maybe I just looked it over. But could you point me in the direction to do this? Thanks in advance.

If you go to Menu button -> Settings -> Display -> Notification Flash ->

There is a list of programs that will use the LED light should you wish them to, there is an option to check "reminders". I think that's what Andrea is talking about.

Yes this and if you have a third party sms app there are reminder settings in those as well
