If you delete the stock weather app, does it affect the clock/weather widget on the home screen.
I like the weather app, but need to go to something smaller (something that doesn't take up the whole page....)

If you're talking about removing the weather widget from your home screen, you can do that without affecting the clock/weather widget.

The weather widget has three sizes you can select so it doesn't take up as much room on a screen.

Press and hold the weather widget and drag it down to remove it from the screen.

Click the add button on screen and select HTC widget, then weather. You can choose a widget style with the bottom right button and select the one you want.

If you are talking about a ROOTED phone with HTC weather app removed I have done it and it works perfectly fine.

Only thing I have not done was remove the Weather Service.apk /odex

Weather.apk /odex is fine to remove.

You can also go into /data/data and remove all the crap that is NOT removed from removing the programs.
