Question, any of this new phones will be a Global phone

If anybody knows if any of those coming up verizon phones are Global phones.(Droid X, HTC, Etc).

I really happy with Verizon but is very shame the low devices with International roaming support.

Verizon now offers the LF Fathom, a Windows based smartphone with a slide out QWERTY keyboard. It is W6.5 and from what I can gather, most are still holding out for the Win7 OS.

I would love to know the answer to this as well... I switched to Droid from a Blackberry Tour (GSM + CDMA) and would love to have an Adroid GSM+CDMA option still.

Why is MS still moving forward with another Windows Mobile OS? I mean, they've lost this race anyhow. Horribly. I wouldn't go back to that either.

Anyone? I've looked everywhere for an answer to OPs original question.

I too would like to know, as I was all lined up to buy a Droid X, until I got a job offer overseas.

My closest guess would be that new Samsung Galaxy S, details here. It is Android 2.1 and it is GSM, so that may be the best bet. Its US equivalent would be the Samsung Captivate, I believe.

I would like to see offerings from Motorola and HTC as well.

In fact, according to this report, there will be Verizon global functional phones running the Android OS by Motorola, Samsung and HTC. And before then of 2010 as well.
