Is a Corvette a premium sports car with a Cobalt motor in it? Is the Samsung Epic a premium handset any longer with an old out dated operating system running it? My question to you ... IMO I think not, now that we already have Ginger Bread appearing in Android handsets. IMO Epic and the rest of the Galaxy line are starting to be akin to the TracFone line up without the latest operating systems. How about it Sprint $249 for a phone with an out dated operating system in it? GET REAL.

I would hardly call the os outdated. There are far more phones out there running 2.1 or earlier than 2.2. This would be like calling windows 7 outdated when sp1 for it is released. 2.2 isn't a major upgrade of the os. 3.0 will be.

I will say I do not agree.
Many things that are premium and 10 yrs old....still considered premium.
