Question for anyone who's purchased a phone from BestBuy.

    This is specifically for anyone who has exchanged their phone for a different model within the 14 return period.

    Did it really not cost anything to do so?

    The rep I dealt with said as long as I brought my new phone back within the 14 return period I could get a different phone without it costing me anything. No restocking fee, nothing. Just curious if that's been the case for others.

    Thank You to anyone with some insight on this.

    i did this...
    i bought thru an upgrade with a gift card and cc and took it back 3 days later...
    full refund including replacement gift card and refund back to cc i used...
    took an extra 2 days for my upgrade to be reversed...

    I sold phones at BestBuy about 1 1/2 years ago. There is nothing to pay, unless you choose a more expensive phone, then you have to pay the difference.

    Also, it is 14 days to return the phone and cancel the contract without a fee. To exchange the phone you actually have 30 days (45 days for Platinum rewards members)
