Root (Question) HTC Inspire Development

Hello, I currently have and HTC Vivid and the development on it is very slow and confusing with the fastboot process. I came from a Motorola Triumph where you could flash everything from the CWM. What I'm wanting to know is if I should get this phone for development. I like to flash a lot and cook ROMs but I'm not sure if I should save for the One X. What is your opinion on this phone and what you think I should do!

The development on this phone is very extensive and yes you can easily flash most any rom or kernel with cwm.
