Root Question on apk backups

    Hi..
    I just rooted my LG Optimus One (P500) running on Version 2.3.3 ..And somehow accidentally removed Downloads.apk..Now, i cant download anything from market..Do anyone help me with the backup apk!! Or can guide to resove the issue..Expecting!!

    Did you take a backup of download.apk using titanium backup or any other similar app? If so, you can try restoring that, though it may not work. You can flash another ROM or restore a backup of your current ROM (if you made one) if you already flashed a custom recovery. If nothing works you can try this thread

    Please note that if anything goes wrong in the above method, you risk permanently bricking your phone. If all goes well, your phone should be just like when you first bought it, which means you will have to root again.

    You can also try alternate app stores, like amazon market

    No..i didint backup da stock apps..i jst need to insatll the Download.apk to start downloadin from Google Play..Im new to rooting & all...
