Do using email on smartphone uses up my phone memory?
I uses Sony xperia x10 (using android) and downloaded the yahoo mail from market. It will syn up the email that one I uses online. But there are more than 10k email in my yahoo email account. Does it work like downloading all the mail to my phone or just simply web-based? I realized that even I turn off my internet connection, all the email is still there in my phone. So? I know this question was stupid but seriously want to know about that. A million thanks in advance.

i think (but not sure) that is stores so many emails on your phone, you should notice if you scroll down through your messages you'll get so far then it had to load older messages and it will only load them if it has a network connection.

so yes, the phone does store emails but probably only the newest 20 or so.
