Question Software update and what it means for Froyo

    So if they had to dump stuff for the 6/28 OTA update will Froyo fit on the phone as is? Or is that diffrent because it will be a firmware update?

    I've read that people are missing wallpapers after the update. I can only assume they were removed to make space.

    I think he's referring to the Android Wallpapers...because I havent seen anything else removed from the phone...

    My guess us Froyo will not be OTA. Only reason this update *may* have been needed.

    The wallpapers weren't removed due to space issues, they were removed because they disabled the default android launcher too. I don't know why they did it, but I doubt it was a space CONCERN. The rom is already partitioned to allow for space for future upgrades, that's why the evo only shows 340 mb when we get it
