it confused me about two days, and still i have no idea.

i build andriod 2.3 on my ubuntu 10.04 follow the url Initializing a Build Environment | Android Open Source.

first i download the jdk 1.6 at http://download.oracle.com/otn-pub/java/jdk/6u27-b07/jdk-6u27-linux-i586.bin, then i install this package follow the Installation Instructions and set the JAVA_HOME CLASS_PATH and PATH environment.

when i type java -version in the terminal, it display the java version successfully.

after steps . build/envsetup.sh and lunch full-eng, i use sudo make to build the system ,but it still says

The correct version is: 1.6.
