    Is Nuance customizable?

I don't want it to ask me, "Did you say Call Joe"
My previous Nokia phone would just say, "Calling Joe." If it was wrong (1% of the time), then I'd disconnect. Why drag this out into a two-step process? Is there a "no confirm" setting somewhere in Nuance?

Is it possible for Nuance not to say, "Say a Command." I know what to do and, unless I turn down the volume, it is annoying to others. Can this be bypassed?

If Nuance is not customizable for making calls, are there replacement apps? Suggestions?

+1 for that! I hate nuance. Coming from MS Voice command, Nuance is plain ********.

If you reach the main menu where it asks for you to say a command, you can hit the menu button and click on the settings tab. Once in the settings tab go into confirmation and click on never confirm.

check "TopVoiceControl" app, it's better IMO (but not as good as MSVC).

Voice recognition just ain't there on the android yet. I'm hoping with 2.0 and more devices out there it'll get pushed forward, plus 2.0 will formally release BT apis so you could potentially voice dial from headset.
