Questions about rooting, and list of unwanted apps, safe to delete?

    Will my phone still be rooted if i update my version of android?
    Will my phone still be rooted if i delete z4root?
    Is there anything usefull about rooting other than able to delete default apps (thats why i wanted to root)

    List of Apps[Not in order of favourites]
    1.QuickOffice
    2.NDrive
    3.Java Downloads
    4.Street View
    5.App Adviser
    6.WAP Service

    Welcome to the forums :)
    If you are looking at updating to an unofficial mod then yes the phone will stay rooted.
    Deleting Z4root the apk itself will not stop your phone from being rooted but uninstalling the program will unroot.
    Rooting gives you access to system files, good for changing bits and pieces.
    Whereabouts are you from? Just asking as you have the Ndrive app.

    So if i un-install z4root like the app it will unroot my phone?
