I have a lot of apps, something like 185 or so, so I tend to get real excited when I'm notified that there are some updates. I look at each update with eager anticipation to see what the changes or improvements are. But now the updates on a lot of my favorite apps are simply chnages made to accomodate another Android phone. Kind of a bummer when I see that for an app that really needs improvement elsewhere, as well. I got to thinking about it, though. I have two questions. As apps are 'updated' to accomodate the growing list of phone models that can use them, are they going to get fatter (take up more space)? Also, will many of them come to a compromise between screen sizes? In other words, if our Droids have the best screen since sliced bread, and ten more Android phones come out with lesser screens causing the app author to make changes, are we gonna get jipped out of the full potential of our excellent screens? ...Keep in mind, I know nothing about writing these things.
