I know we have some former BB users here as well as others who are forced to carry one for work.

I have a verizon blackberry curve at work, it always has a little crosshairs gps icon on the status bar thing. I've heard sprint and verizon androids have this too and it means gps is ready for an e911 call.

Mine has had little graphical radio waves to the right of it for 2 days now like if the plus sign was the crosshairs +))).

Some googling led me to believe that means the gps is active. Why would it be for 2 days? I've pulled the battery (is there an easier way to completely restart) and it's still there.

I have location services on but anonymous data collection off. I couldn't have installed anything to do this, it's completely locked down with bes activation no apps allowed. My boss tracking me?
