On my LG Ally every time I try to type into a login or password box on a website if I use a letter g or a letter s I get thrown out of the browser and into gmail or messaging. How can I disable quick launch when the browser is active? For the time being I have just removed the associations in quick launch.

Hmm, on the Moment the quick launch shortcuts are activate by Menu + any letter of your choice...

Is there an option to set it like that on the Ally?

All of the quick launch items are set to Search+[key] but it seems that any time you get into a text box on a web page it assumes you are in search mode or something.

on the list of the quick launch, have you tried disabling the shortcut associated with "g" or "s"?

As I said, I have removed all of the quick launch shortcuts. The point is they should not activate without the modifier key pressed, especially when in a text entry field in the browser.
