QUICK! NEED HELP! How to format micro sd card correctly for my andro phone??

Hello!
I have Samsung Galaxy Xcover (S5690) phone. I bought a micro sd 16 gd card, i inserted it to my phone, phone said that card is damaged bla bla bla. How to format micro sd card correctly? Does it have to be ntfs file system or fat32?? Dos it have to primary or logical? Please help

Format to FAT32, and don't use the "quick format" option.

Ok, i am now formatting it with allocation unit size 32 kilobytes. Interesting that i have bought 16 gb sd card, but it shows only 14,4Gb
