First off Ive seen kernels that say no multi touch support. What does that mean? Like I cant pinch to zoom?

Also If I flash a new rom do I loose all the pictures stored on my phone?

I don't have a lot of experience with kernals, but there is usually explanations on the xda developer page. As for flashing new roms, if they are stored on the SD card you'll loose nothing. Hope this helps.

No multi touch usually means it only supports up to 2 touch points.(pinch to zoom will still work)
