Help quick responses feature on my samsung galaxy S8

when i try to use the quick responses on my galaxy S8 to compose a message, it goes to the home screen
i think this happened about the time when i got my phone switched to T-Mobile (i'm currently with sprint)

try wiping cache for the messaging app. if that does not work then you might want to consider doing a factory reset.
