This is probably a very stupid question, but I'm kinda new to this. So here goes:

I currently have an original Droid on Verizon, and I've had it for over a year now. I'm eligible for an upgrade to a new phone in the next few days, and I'm planning on taking it. The only thing is that my Droid is rooted and running CM7.

The question: Should I revert to stock and unroot before I upgrade, or can I just take it to Verizon as is?

    Thanks for your help

I don't understand your question. Do you think you have to give back your phone in order to upgrade, because you don't.
