Quick way to add Calendar events by voice

Just fyi, this tip won't work if you're using google voice for texting as the google voice app doesn't allow short codes. Anyone know of a workaround?

If the only action specified for the Moto contact widget is texting, then a single tap does the trick. I'm using "contact widget" from the Market, however, because the Moto widgets don't play well with Launcher Pro.

Is it possible to send the text via the email app?

I could then finally create a calendar event from an incoming email.

I don't know, but I swear I thought you could send Gvent an e-mail from your Gmail account and it would add.

something like Gvent@google, or Cal@google. I could be wrong, surely there is a google answer for this.
