I apologize ahead of time if this has already been asked, however, i could not find it in the forums

I'm looking at getting the Honor 5x but am a little turned off by the long duration of charging time. I've read on some sites that the Honor 5x is quickcharge 2.0 compatible but I do not see it listed on qualcomm's approved devices. Have you or anyone else had any experience using a quickcharge (either 2.0/3.0) with it and what is the approximate charging time? Is there any deleterious effects to the battery in using this charging method? Thanks in advance!

Answered in the AMA, but I think it is good to also have this as it's own thread. :)

The Honor 5X does NOT support any form of quick charge. :(

Well, I've been using my charger from my Galaxy S5, which supports quick charging and it definitely charges much faster than the one that came with the phone.

How long would you estimate that it takes to charge it with a quick charger with a nearly depleted battery?

Just now I charged it from 60% to 100% in about 55 minutes with normal apps running in the background - email push, anti-virus, etc.
