Does anyone know of a app for the droid that will make the ringer get quiet when you pick it up?

I think if you just press the volume button, the ringing is silenced without answering or disconnecting the call

Yup. By the time the app monitors the change in the accelerometer, you can already have hit the vol button....

While I agree with what johnlgalt said, it would be nice to be able to just pick up the phone to bring the ringer volume down. The Incredible has this feature, and it's rather nice. I'm thinking its part of Sense UI? But to answer the OP, I'm not sure if there is an app that mimics that feature.

That's what I'm looking for. My incredible has that but my husbands droid don't and his phone rings way more than mine. It's just nice when trying to get the baby to sleep!
