Root R2D2 - Clockwork

So after a few weeks of reading and pondering I decided to go ahead and play with this D2... So I:

Rooted (have superuser)

Rom Manager (Flashed Clockwork recovery)

No mater how I reboot it though it wont go to recovery.. My Ally would go there every boot.. I have pulled batteries, used the rom manager reboot and used the plug and cant get into it... What am i doing wrong?.. Is it this version of the phone?

You have to download and install droid 2 bootstrapper

Yes... I forgot to post again last night, but I did spring the 2 bucks and it worked... It was a bit confusing cause it seemed that was all built in to the rom manager... That did the trick though and its running a custom rom now... Thx...

Is the r2d2 rooting method the same as the plain d2?

I rooted with one click, downloaded rom manager and the bootstrap, and had the rom going pretty quickly....
