Still being new at this is it necessary to update my radios, wimax, pri, hboot? Are there advantages or disadvantages to this? Here are my current settings:

    wimax:not sure
    pri:2.15_003
    hboot: EVO_HBoot_2.15.0001

You CAN update your radios/PRI etc, but you don't really have to. I honestly can't tell much of a difference from one to the next. Some say they get better signal, some say they get worse. I would say that if you don't have any problems with anything, just leave them alone.

For Hboot, I would never, ever touch it. There's really no reason to change it at all, so just leave it alone.

well in in settings/about phone/software info/baseband. your baseband is your radio. finding your wimax version is little more involved but read this:[GUIDE] How to check your WiMax version - xda-developers
