    Hey all,

I ran the update this morning and lost my root :banghead: now I'm trying to fix it but One Click Root and Rescue Root have both failed. I believe I had to use ODIN(?) to root my last phone and honestly I have no idea what to try now. I have Titanium Backup Pro, Root Browser, Terminal Emulator, BusyBox Free and Lucky Patcher but I'm no longer a super user. Anyone else here a Boost Mobile user who has run into this?

I updated mine as soon as I bought it and read a lot of how to root it. I found this link and it worked for me, really quick and easy. (only root no CWM), still haven't install any.

For anyone curious about how to restore super user or needs to easily root their lg optimus f7 use framaroot.apk. . You can find it with a Google search. Install the apk, select Gandalf exploit (what previous poster was referring to, and bam you have superuser. I then install susuperuser pro for a more permanent root which will uninstall other exploits.
If you want to tinker with you're new superuser rights without changing your whole phone or using a recovery, I have installed xposed framework which has a myriad of mods which gives you total cover-up over your stock Rom.
