Help Random fingerprint scanner and keyboard crash!

Sometimes,  when opening up my lock screen,  the fingerprint scanner doesn't work. What's more, when entering a backup password,  the keyboard refuses to show up! At first, it seemed to have something to do with being connected to a charger, but the problem seems to be getting worse every time I unlock my phone.  Now it just happens randomly.  The only way to fix this problem that I have found is to reboot my phone. There does not seem to be anything in the settings related to this glitch. I am afraid that this problem will escalate into bigger problems, so I want to find a way to fix it.  Anyone know what's happening?

Sounds like multiple problems with the whatever it is phone you've got there, possibly firmware bugs or hardware, which would be manufacturer service required, especially if you think it could get worse. Is it under warranty?
