Okay, well, I was just funning you. I am old enough to remember seeing him on TV (though until I googled I actually thought, like you, his show was "kids say the darndest things" rather than just a segment that led to a book and a later series starring disgraced actor Bill Cosby) growing up and he was old then. However, I just learned that he lived to be 97 and died in 2010. So yeah, he was old then, but even older later! :D

He had a radio show that led to his TV show, and both included those delightful segments. Here's a blurb from his obituary in the LA Times:
Linkletter knew "without a doubt" that he'd be remembered for his popular interactions with children. ***

The Canadian-born Linkletter hosted "People are Funny" and the Emmy-winning "House Party" on radio and television for more than 25 years. He last regularly appeared on TV as a contributor on "Kids Say the Darndest Things," a half-hour show Bill Cosby hosted on Friday nights from 1998 to 2000.

If you are interested, the full obit is here: Art Linkletter, broadcasting pioneer who created 'Kids Say the Darndest Things,' dies at 97

I get to get up early to take my car in for a cut tire tread...

Then, if they are fast enough, take the dog to the vet.

Then drive 200 miles to the old casa Dngrs.

Somehow find time to change some spark plugs and tailligths...

I never had one unless you count Military. Military forces basically go where they want and dare anyone to object. Not that I've personally ever left the USA except for Canada and Mexico but they're both long time bros of USA

Somehow the biggest rabbit hole I am digging my way through artwork itself, the smaller the hole of to electronical system names. I am a semi geek, whose lost intrest in the past dvds, I have purchased.
