Yeah. Still pretty cool though. The "I'm Batman" plane flying over Fenway Park was my all time favorite flyover. And I was in the USAF. Seen some stuff in Florida.

It would really been cool if you saw a fleet of F-22 Raptors flyover in formation:D

I felt like I was the only one who thought this way considering all over the internet folks are saying new devs should go with kotlin and old devs should transition. Devs that I've followed for a long time have also transitioned. It's nice to know that there's at least one like-minded person. Thank You.

I saw it from a boat on the Seine about 20 years ago. I never visited. It's sad whenever anything historic is destroyed. :(

I've been there three times. My wife and I sat in the shadow of the spire on our 30th anniversary.

    I feel like I've lost a family member. :(

Yes, my daughter and I were talking when it fell. It reminded both of us of the last time we were talking, in different states, as a building burned...and we saw the second plane hit. This does not appear to be terrorism, like that was, but just some unfortunate, awful accident.

My daughter has visited Notre Dame several times, and tells me it was just exquisite. And 900+ years old!

    That's beautiful! I love it.

You can hire a topiary gardener to work magic like that in your yard.

I'm pretty sure you'd have to hire someone proficient in Photoshop as topiaries do not have tongues. ;)

You've never been to Disneyland? :p

(I can't actually say I've SEEN tongues there, but their topiaries are incredible.)

You are right, I have never been to Disneyland, but I've been to Disney World a bunch of times. The hedges are neatly trimmed, but the fancy stuff is fake.

Then you must come to the original--and best. Their topiary is not fake!

Knock-off? What do they call themselves? Is it fun?
Forgive me, but as a SoCal native who grew up going to Disneyland, watching Walt Disney on TV every week, knowing he had an apartment overlooking Main Street, and whose mother's best friend worked at Disney studios her entire career, there's only one real Disneyland. Everything else is an imitation. :)

When I lived in Florida (my husband's home state), I didn't even care to go to Walt Disney World. That usually shocks people, knowing that I'm a Disneyphile and lived in Florida for a time, but DIDN'T go to WDW!

Oh, if only more people--many, MANY more people--shared that misguided opinion! That would make it so much nicer (uncrowded) for the rest of us. :p

One thing I have learned* in almost a year of marriage: There’s a fine line between not getting in trouble for staying quiet and saying the wrong thing or the wrong way.

Plastic hedges? Luxury!! At Eurodisney, we make do with a couple of twigs and a mouldy leaf!
