Random Thoughts on Memory

So....

Been playing with the phone a lot since I got it. Battery life issues have been dwindling now that the meter has been calibrated and I've gotten rid of the 100% awake time apps.

So concerning memory. I know that clearing cache significantly speeds up the phone. Certainly when I clear it out, it shows a marked difference. Is there any way for the external memory to be used to help out with this?

What kind of data are stored in the cache of the browser and email?

Any other thoughts?

when we get root there will be a way to create a swap partiton on the sd card to make the phone faster. but you'll have to be a tweaker to get it to work right.
