Yes, nothing will change.
Chinese? Japanese? Korean? SPAM ALL OVER MY ANDROID FORUMS, really really grinds my gears.
I guess @mikedt is being put on notice.
Well Mike does post in English-
Nope I love @mikedt his posts are relevant.
I'm tired of mindless hate. Like hating a casting despite you not seeing the person actually perform the role.
or hate on a movie before it even releases.
Finally, hating someone for their opinion just because they disagree. That's annoying.
^^^^ I hate that post
To be fair, most new movies suck anyway. I honestly can't remember the last time I actually wanted to see a movie.
Totally agree. I've long thought that Hollywood has run out of ideas.
Kind of like songs - the best ones are old classics.
I get more pleasure from reading a good novel these days, of which there are many.
You should see "Get Out" it's an incredible (original) movie.
Thanks for the recommendation, will check it out.
New phones that don't work due to poor Quality Control.
Questions? See Pixel 2 XL post.
That co-worker. You know the one. That one that talks constantly, follows you into a room and even though they're engaged in an activity in that room, Just keeps on yakking at you while you walk out the door and down the hall. STILL talking as though you're in the room when you're 50ft down the hall.
I do it the other way. Family members keep talking to you for a bit before they even notice you're gone. Wrapped up in the importance of their own thoughts and speech I suppose.
Not sure if a rant or just funny....
When your co-worker is so loud on the phone that he wakes up Bixby on your S8+.
Books that don't have all the correct answers.
Since my illness, I can honestly say that NOTHING grinds my gears any more. Really, nothing.
PS Why is there a little symbol in front of the linked word "illness"?
It's a link to your I'm back thread. Anytime you link to something now it puts an icon in front of the link.
Ok first rant of the year, and it's a justifiable one.
Mrs reports that the headlight bulb on her car has gone. Fine I think, no problem I'll just replace it.
Except it's not that simple, because the entire front bumper (fender) assembly has to come off!!
Honestly, who designs a car like this?! ******* Renault, that's who.
Unfortunately a lot of things are like this now.
I had a Renault in the '80s, but Renault in the U.S. was made by AMC if I remember my autochronology correctly.
I'd check on that headlamp assembly. If it's just the bulb that's out there may be some way to access it from behind. If you have to replace the lens and/or housing, then yeah, like @Unforgiven said, they're all like that these days.
Apparently you can just about get in behind the passenger side if you have small hands.
But it had to be the driver's side that's gone.
I don't think most cars are like this, certainly not in the UK. The Mrs took it in to Halfords (auto parts shop), and they said this car was the one of the very few they couldn't work on, because of the bumper removal.
Ugh! That is certainly a stupid design. I recall one of the original Honda Civic's -- or was it a Datsun? (now Nissan) -- that to change the #4 spark plug you had to drop the engine! There was no other way to get at it short of cutting a hole in the firewall.
Sounds like the Chevy Vega where you had to take out the engine bolts and shift the engine to get at the rear plugs.
