Rating Apps using Google +

I have not rated an app in a while since I am not a Google+ member. If I become a member will I get baraged with email and when I rate an app will my real name be shown or will it use a user name? I am not really interested in the "benefits" of being a Google+ member.

Please give me your thoughts on the subject

AFAIK, your real name *is* used. Google wants to eliminate trollish posts and reviews, so they hope that doing this will at least curtail the behavior.

I am not interested in having people know my full name over the internet (my name is probably unique and therefore easily searched down) so I guess I will not be proving any ratings which I am sorry about but that is the result.
