Hello. My Gmail account was really messed up, so I deleted it and started from scratch, completely forgetting that all of my contacts, apps, etc were all part of that. I am fine with retrieving my contacts, my main fear is having to repurchase applications. Is there anyway I can retrieve my purchased apps on a new account without having to re-buy them? Thanks!

My best guess is that you are out of luck on those paid apps.

Maybe some one else will chime in with a solution for you... but i doubt it.

There's no automated solution for your problem. I suppose you could email a Google rep and tell them your situation, and verify that you own the credit card that originally bought the apps on the now-deleted google account. However, this could take a lot of time, and in the end it might not accomplish anything at all. It might not even be worth it, maybe you should just purchase the apps again. Sorry for your situation.

I went through the same situation, my Gmail account was hacked in some way or another and I wanted to start over.

You'll have to email each developer and they'll ask for your old order number as well as the new one, then refund one of them. You can get all of your order numbers through Google Checkout and they'll be linked to your old account.

I had about 10 paid apps or so that I cared to keep, and each developer I emailed was very helpful and understanding. It's a pain for sure, but better than being out another 20 or 30 bucks.
