I have SwiftDroid 2.0 'ASIS' installed on my LG GT540, and i've been trying to re-install Android 2.1 for a while now for things like the LG menu theme, and because of random glitches in SwiftDroid, but every time i've tried to re-install 2.1, my phone has went into a boot loop and the only way to fix it was to re-install SwiftDroid, i've tried to re-install 2.1 a few more times but the only instructions i've been able to find are ones that are too complicated for me to follow without messing everything up, is there anything else i can try?, i really wish i hadn't put SwiftDroid on my phone in the first place. :(

You have to clear your data, that's why it's boot looping. Get into fastboot mode, then use the command
    Code (Text):
    1. fastboot -w
    then install the original 2.1.
