    Hi there,
It would be great if you could describe more specifically what's happening, what kind of notifications do you get? One thing necessary for sending and receiving MMS is to switch on the use of package data (not needed for SMS, but strangely enough you need it for MMS). Maybe your problem is different, reason why I'm asking you to be more specific.

    Dear Marcha & GrahamF,

    Thanks for the replies.

My Packet Data is on 24/7 while my Wifi is off 24/7.

I have tried to send out MMS to my friends, it stated 'Sending' but the status of the MMS remains unchanged. My friends tried to send me a MMS, a text message was sent to me. The word 'Download' was shown, but when I clicked on it, the status remains unchanged too.

I tried to contact the service provider, they have reset my networks. I was told to switch off and on my mobile but same thing happened.

    Hi Jiaqinggg,
Honestly, I have no idea what's wrong. Sometimes even providers don't give the right settings (as I've found out myself). Could you give a list of all your mobile settings needed for MMS? For example: APN, MMS-proxy en -gate, MCC, MNC, verification type, APN-type? Maybe we can make conclusions from all that.

I guess something's wrong with the phone. I was able to send out MMS using another phone. I am not quite sure on where to check all the settings which you have mentioned above.

    Hi,
It seems your settings are not correct.
Of course I don't know what your settings should be, but here's where you can find them: Settings (of course), Wireless and networks, Mobile networks, Access Point Names, there you can find your settings for internet and MMS.
Sometimes providers can't reset or install the right settings from a distance. Maybe you can find them on the internet in order to do it all manually.

    Thanks!
I have sent an e-mail to Samsung, looks like I need to contact my service provider to check on all the settings.

    Hi,
You will have to get the correct settings for your phone from your internet provider, not from Samsung!

    Hi Marcha,

My MMS is finally working & I did it myself. The APN type was set to 'internet' - I compared the settings with one of my friends. His APN type was 'internet + mms' while mine was 'internet' only. I immediately changed the APN type to 'internet + mms' and it worked!
