so i see update for news
i hit update
then it says product does not exist in store???
As it's a Samsung App I assume that you need to create and be logged into a Samsung Account for it to work. Have you done so?
It updated for me shortly after I got the GS2. Since then it (and all the other Hub apps) have been binned from my handset so I've no more recent experience.
No u dont need samsung account to update cause it worked before
Well, if it worked before but doesn't work now then it's most likely an issue with the update server.
Have u tried updating it urself?

Binned = trashed, removed, deleted.
so i guess u rooted ur phone then
cause my stock IM app can't be binned
I have not rooted my phone. I also see the update listed for Press Reader in Readers Hub, and mine does the same when you click saying it is not available or whatever. Give it a few days and Samsung/Press Reader to work out that no-one is downloading the new update and they will fix whatever is going on in the background.
Mine does the same.
I got a newspaper on Friday but since then it hasn't worked.. I can't even see the one I downloaded.
Books and magazines still appear to work, just not newspapers.

Well I didn't really help, just confirmed the problem
I'm pretty sure it's just a problem with the update server and/or the app itself, as I haven't done anything abnormal to make it die on me.
yea sometimes i am not really looking for help, just confirmations. cause if it's a server issue there's nothing u can do
I had a similar problem with the Newspaper a week ago where it has an update button but when you try to use the update it just gives an error. Today the Kobo book store gave the same problem.
The good news, can now update the newspaper section. Hopefully that means Samsung will fix the book reader soon.
As for going to the library, just click on the update button, then press cancel, and it will just go straight to the library.

PS - Maybe that means the Zinio magazine will be next to face the problem.
PPS - That said, anyone facing problem with Game Hub WeRule. Once I log on, I get bumped out with Server Request Rejected Error 201 message. Anyone got the same problem.
Finally manage to update readers hub yesterday.
The same thing happened to an update of Kobo that came through last week. It took a few days for the errors to stop and the update to proceed.
I have the galaxy s2 and I have the social hub and the media hub but I cant find the other two. Sorry if I'm in the wrong place but it just sounded like you guys know what youre talking about Any advice?
If you have a carrier branded phone like AT&T or something then it can be different with what is loaded. It can also vary by country. If so then see if there is a forum for your specfic version.
I think depends on country. I don't have media hub. But reader's hub should be for everyone. If not, just download KOBO off android market and Zinio too. That's what available in Readers Hub. It just puts it in one place.
Or you can just get book application that you like to use.
