It's almost back to school time, and I had this genius idea, what if I didn't have to bring home any of my textbooks for homework, what if I could just pull them up on my tablet, if it helps I have the Archos 101 internet tablet

You would need to find ebook or PDF versions of the books. Usually text books run expensive and their digital counterparts reflect that as well.

If you don't get ebook, you can scan book pages using camera. There is an application called Camscanner. It will convert scanned page to pdf format.

A free app that gives you free access to any text book? I don't think such an app exists.

You can get the Amazon Kindle application and buy etextbooks through Amazon. They tend to be cheaper, but not many publishers are actively making etextbooks. Not one of my upcoming semester's books were in digitial format (Organic Chem, Quantitative Analysis, Microbiology).
