Apps Real Time Image Processing on Android

I am a newbie to Android application development. I wanted to do some real time Image processing on the image as it is captured by the camera. Can anybody suggest me some Image processing library. Or at least tell me how can I get the image from the camera stored in an array.

Also can somebody tell me how to check the camera on the emulator.

Any help would be highly appreciated.
