Help Rebooting phone

Yesterday I did a complete factory reset on my phone.
Now when I try to turn it on I get stuck of the Galaxy s4 logo.
I have tried the power + home + volume up with no luck.
I CAN get into recovery mode where there are options like "install", "download", "recovery", "reboot", etc.
The problem is once here, I have no idea how to go about rebooting my phone.
When I do reboot it gives options like rebooting "system" , "power off", "download", etc.
I've clicked all of them and it "reboots" and gets stuck right back on the logo.
Please help me fix this if possible. Thank you.

What model S4 do you have?
Is it rooted or stock?
If rooted,does it have custom recovery?

It was rooted before the reset, but when I reboot (just for it to go right back to idling on the logo), my phone asks if I would like to install supersu, which would root my phone.

Sounds like you have as custom recovery installed. When you boot into recovery, volume up+home+power, do you see Team Win logo or Team Win Recovery Project?
