A notification icon has been showing up, looking like an Android avatar, with a line through it. Clicking on it (yikes!) yields a statement, "lujan2 is following you"... I don't know if that means via twitter (no follower by that name), google+, or what.

    Any help??

    Thanks, Cal

I've never seen a notification like that associated with Google+.

In your accounts and sync menu, what accounts do you have linked to your handset?

I sync to my normal Outlook email account and to my google email. I don't syn to google contacts. Also sync to my twitter and linked-in accounts.

Sorry, I meant like Picasa, twitter, facebook etc. Might be worth running through your friends list on those to see if there's anyone called lujan as you have done for twitter.

Is there anyway you could get a picture of the android avatar? It might help in finding out what app it's for.

The next time I see the icon (it appears randomly), I'll snap a picture of it. I did check facebook, twitter, and linked in for contacts like lujan or lujan2 - none.

Might be worth having a look through your contacts too?

Do you play any games where you'd have people following you?

Mystery solved... the follower is via a little-used app I have, TuneWiki.... apparently it presents my playlist and someone named lujan2p elected to follow my musical tastes. I have sealed it up.

Someone is following your musical tastes? That's disturbing.

No its not. Some people also have Last.fm accounts like me, basically you can add friends there like Facebook, so you can see what your friends are listening to, and see what new songs they like and see a profile of their musical tastes.
