Since the 2.1 update when I receive a MMS from an iphone user I get something resembling a video file. Has anyone else experienced this? I don't know if it's an issue with 2.1 or the two people have a strange setting on their iphone. Thanks.

I just got an MMS from an iPhone yesterday and it was like this. Still pic but it played like a short video. Black at the beginning then several seconds of the still image. I thought it was the senders error but now I am curious.

I am pretty sure this is an iphone "feature" as I have always received pictures from an iphone in a video format, even on my old blackberry.

I haven't always had this issue. I used to get straight pics from the users in question.

I used to get this on my old Nokia when I was on ATT. I would get text from my friend who was also on ATT and the pics would play like a video with any text they added in scrolling up from the bottom. Since I've switched to my droid I haven't had that happen. I always just thought it was because of my old nokia flip phone.
