Ok so here's the deal. My mother had a Droid 2, setup a gmail to use with it and all worked well. Well, when her car charger broke the store rep talked her into upgrading to the Droid Razr. Only problem is she didn't recall her account details so he set her up with a new gmail account. Things are working fine through the Razr currently.

She used her original gmail address to sign up for some things such as her nook/B&N account so she needs access to that account. She still can't figure out her password and doesn't seem to have written it down anywhere. I charged up her Droid 2 and it still logs on fine to her Gmail account through the Gmail app (and obviously uses the account in general for the phone).

Is there any way for me to recover her login info from her phone for her? I'm going to guess it's all encrypted so it'll be no dice.. but I figure a long shot is still a shot.

She tried the password recovery thing on the Gmail website but it asks for stuff she doesn't have a clue about (like account creation date), and has no recollection of ever choosing the security question it's asking for (insists she would never have chosen that question). I don't wanna make an attempt to walk her through the recovery only to wind up getting her account disabled.

If she logs into Gmail on her computer or a computer with the original account and checks the forgot password box, she will be taken through steps to change it. You can do it on the phones browser too, it is just simpler on a big screen.
