Root Recovery mode

    Can u get into recovery mode without putting cwm on ur phone? If so what options will it allow me to do, I was just wanting to reset the battery stats for a friend on their phone, I have cwm on my phone but dont wanna try to boot into their recovery mode and mess up there phone.

    Its the same thing just less options. "Volume up, camera, power." All at once of course.

    The stock recovery does not have the wipe battery option
    But you can use a file explorer to delete /data/system/batterystats.bin
    It is the same a selecting the option in cwm
