Hey guys, damn that was hard. I'm running something you aren't, lets fix that! After working for about a 8 hours straight at it, I got philz building from source and booting!

I booted it up and everything seems to be working, flash it just like you flash clockworkmod recovery.

Radio does not work when installing from rom zip (working on it)
One BIG difference from cwm is how long you hold power and the volume down button until it boots. After you fastboot flash it, pull your battery (or however you want to power off completely) and hold volume down and power. LET GO OF POWER AS SOON AS YOU SEE THE "FACTORY RESET PROCESSING" SCREEN! THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE MUST OR PHILZ WONT BOOT, IT WILL JUST TURN OFF! After first boot, just use an app inside android to reboot to recovery, I personally use APM+ and xposed:http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/modules/advanced-power-menu-apm-t2842792
I need someone to tell me if backups work, and also restore. Preferably someone who has a good cwm backup just in case, isnt worried about losing stuff, and knows how to restore using the LG restore tool. Lemme know in this thread how it goes.

And yes, I am working on getting CM11 compiling. Dont expect too much. I have a stupidly slow laptop and thats a lot more work than this was. If anyone wants to help, my sources are posted above, just throw down on it and make sure you post your updated device and vendor tree for the benefit of the whole community here.
