Trust me brother already did and I will also help with gaining root
I'm currently trying to pull the system using adb and that way I can access the recovery partition file so I can pull the stock recovery....This phone really needs love and I'm determined
Awesome, that would greatly appreciate. Keep us updated. Again thanks.
I just checked the kingroot queue and it said there are 16,264 requests. Now idk how many it takes for them to pick up the project but man i wished it was soon.
It's about 20,000 I believe.
27 on the list as of 11/7/17
Sorry not to be rude. But honestly doubt king root will work. They aren't the quickest to put phones in. Hell the Galaxy S7 took a min to get added. King root doesn't have the best support tbh. Honestly holding out for the devs on here is a better bet as I believe they would have something sooner then king root does. King root is good "when it works and ur device is supported"
I'm about to fix my other phone and when I do if any of the devs need more ppl to do tests on I'm volunteering to help. If that will speed things up to getting a root made. I know a little on the rooting content from scratch. Also my computer has Linux and windows on it so I can run tests on there
Hello guys it's been a while any update on this?
We're all hoping for one. Cause rn. Mines a paper weight. Had some kinda issue rebooted mine and didn't do anything to it and my phone boots into recovery and nothing else. And ZTE doesn't make a stock firmware for the phone to fix the phone.
How do they get the system on the phone then...magic?
Touche. ZTE hasn't released a stock image to the public. They have one but won't release it.
That's what I figured.
Well, he deleted his mediafire file along with everything else. Anyone else have a working link to download the TWRP?
Here you go. Quoted from the original post. Note it's referred to as a beta. We've no idea if this works or not, so use at your own risk:
I'm not responsible for any bricked devices.
Warning: you must enable oem unlock in the developer options before trying to flash or test the recovery.
Oh, download appears to be deleted, so you'll have to build it from the source, which is still there.
Deleted too let's see what you can do
Yeah I thought you'd do that, so I took a copy of your public source code. Thanks
I don't care my zmax got broken anyway -_-
Let me know when you have something built in test it on my phone
It suddenly went dead does not turn on or do anything, not detected by pc too -_- i don't know what caused it, don't want to screw your device too..
@hroark13 any ideas?
Sorry to probably flog a dead horse (yet again), but all I asked for was irrefutable evidence that your rooting procedure actually works for this phone. I don't think that's an unreasonable request, considering that we've had two threads with over 5000 posts, and some clever people haven't found a solution. So I have some scepticism about this. If you've cracked it then kudos to you and I bow to your expert knowledge, but over the many months of these threads, people have claimed to make some significant breakthrough, and it came to nothing. Let's also consider the stupid infighting and mud slinging that you guys have got into, which although entertaining, didn't really help the cause.
So I ask again - please provide evidence that proves beyond doubt that your root method works. And don't get upset or throw your toys out of the pram when someone challenges you. That doesn't really reflect well on you.
